Austin Staffing is looking for an Inside Channel Account Manager for our client in North Austin. Candidate must have an interest in developing sales within a defined region for the Networking and Storage industry.Responsibilities: This role is primarily an outbound phone-based position with expectations of 50+ per day. The employee will be responsible for cultivating a healthy sales pipeline including following up on leads, managing an existing customer base and uncovering new opportunities within a designated territory. This person will work directly with Value Added Resellers, Distributors and other elements of the Channel Sales Team to effectively position the client's products, win business opportunities and exceed quarterly sales quotas.
Requirements: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Professional and confident phone based sales and account management skills in an open office environment
Knowledge of networking technologies including wired, wireless and storage networking products
Understanding of the indirect sales channel and how to manage Value Added Reseller and Direct Market Reseller relationshipsAbility to provide pre-sales assistance including solution concepts to resellers using the client's products
Passion for customer engagement and satisfactionExcellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow up Ability to establish and accomplish goals with limited direct supervision in a metric driven environmentOutstanding interpersonal and teamwork skillsExperience entering data into database applications and operating basic word processing applications; experience ideal but not requiredSolid understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Travel requirements: 5-10% or lessEducation: College degree or equivalent work experience. BS/BA in Business or related field/work experience.Experience: 3-4 years in technology sales

Salary range $45, 000 to $60, 000 DOE plus commission plan
